I get a little bit too excited about the science behind everything happening on our planet. My niche of interest lies in leveraging technology (meta-omics, microfluidics, advanced microscopy) to investigate interspecies interactions of bacteria in the environment, especially in the ocean. Before joining the Microbial Ecosystems Lab, I obtained my BS in Integrated Sciences at Fulbright University Vietnam, where I spent a good amount of time conducting research in different environmental systems (soil, ocean, or freshwater systems). Outside the lab, you can find me playing badminton, swimming, strumming my guitar, crafting, trekking/hiking, and doing science communication (mostly with my family)!
