Somok Banerjee

I am a PhD student in the Microbial Ecosystems Lab studying interactions in marine symbiotic microbial communities using microfluidics and single-cell imaging. I completed my Master’s in Microbiology from Tripura University, India, where I developed a microbial biofilm-based bioreactor for dairy wastewater treatment, and I also hold an advanced diploma in Bioinformatics. My research interests include microbial interactions, data analytics, and microfluidics based environmental microbiology. Outside the lab, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and exploring new restaurants & cafes.
